Frequently asked questions

Not sure which option is right for you?

If you see any frame you like on my website, I can customise it to suit your needs. It doesn’t have to stay as a pet or wedding frame - I can adapt the design for your photos.

Please fill in the contact form and let me know which frame you like and any adaptations you’d like made. Please provide a SKU - usually begins with AZ and can be found at the bottom of the product
description.

Need a Custom Mount?

Already have a frame or planning to purchase your own?

I create custom-cut picture mounts designed to fit your photographs, artwork and keepsakes perfectly.

To request a quote, please provide:

1. Overall mount size (or frame size)
2. Number of apertures (windows)
3. Orientation of each aperture (landscape or portrait)
4. Print or artwork sizes (e.g 6x4", 10x8" A4)
5. Single or double mount preference
6. Preferred mount colour, (white, black or pale cream)

Suitable for:

Mounted photographs (customer supplied)
Artwork & Prints
Certificates
Cross-stitch, embroidery
Papercraft
Flat items suitable for standard board

Important Information
Aperture sizes:

Apertures are cut slightly smaller than the item size to hold your photograph or artwork securely behind the mount.

For example:
Photo size: 6x4"
Aperture cut size: approximately 5.5 x 3.5"

Please ensure that important details such as face, an object or text borders sit comfortably within the visible area.

If you're unsure, you're welcome to send a photograph or screenshot showing your print with a ruler or tape measure for reference (after my first reply)

Maximum Cutting Size:

My mount cutting machine has a maximum usable cutting area of 32 x 28 inches.

Although the mountboards themselves are larger, the machine's holding mechanism reduces the available cutting space, meaning I am unable to cut mounts larger than these dimensions.

What I provide:

Custom cut single mounts
Custom cut double mounts
Multi-aperture layouts
Personalised inscriptions
Layout suggestions based on your supplied measurements
Mounts made to fit your existing frames or planning to purchase one

What I do not provide:

Complete framing services
Box frames or shadow-box mounts
Technical or scaled drawings
Mounting systems for thick items, memorabilia, medals or objects
Frame assembly or fitting services
Photograph printing services

If you're unsure whether your project is suitable for standard picture mount, please get in touch.

Design & Quotation Service

Once I received your measurements and requirements, I’ll prepare a simple layout proposal and quotation within 1-2 working days.

There is no charge for this service!

Where are your products manufactured?

All materials are sourced from trusted UK suppliers, proudly supporting the UK businesses.

Mountboards
The mats I use are made from pure white conservation-grade board - carefully selected for its durability and archival quality.
Lignin-free, alkaline-sized, and pH neutral
Buffered with calcium carbonate to resist atmospheric pollutants and extend the lifespan of your artwork.

Frames - it just feels more complete!
The ready made frames is fitted with styrene glazing instead of glass - Ideally, where safety is a consideration for home, baby nursery and gifts.

Craftsmanship - the maker
Every picture mount is designed and precision-cut using advanced computerised machinery to ensure clean lines, perfect alignment and perfect layout.

Price Update - I’m really sorry for the recent price increase. My supplier’s costs have gone up, and I’m doing my best to keep prices as low as possible. Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support.
