There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning, throwing open the curtains and watching the mist roll away over the green hills of Somerset. You get your first coffee of the day and sneak your way down to your studio, taking care not to wake the sleeping husband and you survey your work for the day. Oh, and you haven't even made it out of your pyjamas yet.

Here at Azana Photo Frames every day is just like this. It is idyllic and peaceful and more than a little countrified. But that isn't to say that we don't have our hectic times too. But from the moment we threw open the doors of our business in 2010, the aim has been to bring light and love into people's lives through producing the best quality and most beautifully designed photo frames you can get anywhere – we succeeded.

Running with it

Azana Photo Frames is the brainchild of Karen Dobson. A Somerset entrepreneur who took her great idea and ran with it. She learnt the right skills, developed her product and started selling. Just a few years later she is the proud winner of a number of local awards for her business and the innovation it represents. She is one clever lady who never underestimates the power of hard work and dedication.

She started with craft fairs and local stalls to see if there really was a market. She canvassed her friends and family and talked to anyone everywhere to see if she could create a buzz. People loved Karen's product, they raved about the designs and the quality and before she knew it the Azana name was off and running and Karen was running alongside for all she was worth.
